Is there any way to transfer to another user’s voicemail. With the phones, you just preface the extension number with a * but with Wave Desktop, if I try *xxx it doesn’t work.
TIA,

Dear user,
Thank you for using the Wave Desktop app! You can dial *98, and enter the extension number (another user’s ext.), and enter the voicemail box pw. Then, you can transfer to the user’s vm box. Thanks for your testing!
Thank you!
When will this get fixed. That solution might work but it sounds like a fail. I cannot say this strongly enough, that “solution” is no real solution.
Dear user,
Thank you for your feedback! Your suggestion is when the user dials “* + ext.”, the system will direct the user to that ext.'s voicemail? I will pass this suggestion to our development team for evaluation. Thanks for your testing!
Thank you!
That is a way to move a voicemail from one mailbox to another.
What I’m after is to send a current call to the voicemail extension of another user.
The same thing as, when using a phone, you can hit transfer, *, then either press a BLF or enter an extension number.

That would do the trick!
Better yet would be, when you hit transfer and the contact list came up, voicemail would be an option along with blind and attended. That would be a super user friendly solution.
Dear user,
Thank you for your feedback and clarification! I will pass your suggestions and using experiences to our UCM development team for evaluation. Thanks for your testing!
Thank you!
