VOIP Trunk Unreachable or Rejected

I made a small update to the UCM6100 PBX this morning. The VOIP trunks are no longer connecting. The System Event Alert Log says “Register SIP failed” and “SIP registration failed! The remote address is: IPV4/UDP/, account ID is: 538”. This problem occurs frequently. Do I need to configure NAT any differently than forwarding port 5060 from the firewall to the PBX? The “Trunks” on “System Status” “Dashboard” say “Unreachable”.

Is there a debug program I can use to validate that the VOIP service provider is online?

Fail2Ban was blacklisting the IP address of the VOIP Provider. I added it to the white list.
