Hi all,
I’m just wanting to know what is involved to get the event list I have created to auto-populate on our deskphones.
Some details first:
Grandstream UCM6202 - firmware 1.0.20.8
10x Grandstream GXP2135’s with firmware 1.0.9.135
30x Grandstream GXP1615’s with firmware 1.0.7.33 (not part of this exercise)
Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch environment, all phones live within a VLAN which is being handled (tagging) by the switch.
I have entered the administration page of the UCM Call Features > Event List and created a new list with the company name (all caps, no spaces, no special characters).
The Event List type is Presence and the 10 extensions of the GXP2135’s have been selected.
Now this is where I’m not sure exactly how to proceed…
I would have thought the easiest way of getting all the phones to use the same config would be via Value-added > Zero Config (?)
In here I open Model Templates and have a template for the GXP2135
Within that I have set it as follows:
So thats:
P134 = the URI of the event list
P2389 = to enable auto-population of the virtual keys
P2475 = the local IP of the UCM
However I’m not sure what to put in under the Phone section.
Currently there are two entries which are the same:
Mode = Line
Account = Account 1
This is to allow each phone to have two concurrent calls.
However when the phone registers, it does not appear to be auto-populating the keys with the list data.
Any ideas, have I missed something?
