Unable to connect to 2.4 Ghz Band SSID, SSID configuration was corrupted (with solution)

#1

Hi,

After changing some settings on my 2.4 GHz Band, Wi-Fi clients begin disconnecting from AP (2 GWN7610 and 1 GWN7602).

After many tentative ways to resolving the problem, including soft reboot and hard reboot of APs the problem didn’t resolve.

I discovered that SSID was broadcast after each reboot but then disappeared.

Finally, I created a new SSID with a new name on 2.4 GHz band, and clients could connect again.

So, to resolve I simply delete original SSID, and renamed the new one with the old name and all clients connected again to 2.4 GHz band.

Something corrupted on SSID configuration, only by creating a new one the problem was solved.

I factory reset my GWN’s after experiencing some unexpected behaviour. The GWN’s are managed from cloud, after the reset they automatically adopted again (and started behaving as expected). Might be a different approach for the same solution.
