UCM6104 doesn't apply any changes saved

… It also doesn’t allow to create new backups!
Any idea what could be the cause and/or solution of this?

this maybe a hw defect!
try to factory reset and see if it can help

Some of the memory chipsets failed after time which led to similar issues that you are facing… make a change, reboot and log back in to see if the change has gone. If it does then you have that problem and you need to buy a new system.
