UCM6100 communication with HT701 and non grandstream phone

#21

Hi all, which syslog level is best to find out the problem

#22

Debug + sent sip log.
But better catch packets on UCM side.
Anyway what you see in this extra IP register ?

#23

I am very thankful for this forum as I am getting quick response from the experts especially @Marcin, @lpneblett and @damiano70. Unfortunately I didn’t get enough time to follow your instruction. Definitely I will send you the feedback for the same. Also I have some clarification in your reply as discussed below.

1.Does the firmware updates necessary or recommendation fro registration issue.
2. Do I need to backup the configuration before updating the firmware?
3.UCM inbuilt syslog is almost 45 MB size.
4. @Marcin

While hover the link, I can see only one IP. I am using default 5060 as a port number.

#24
  1. Necessary, release note have few register errors which was fixed in newer firmware.

  2. If you want, 99,99% upgrade is safe.

  3. It is overwrite all time, so it is normal, but UCM syslog do not give us much unless we add more logs.

HOVER:
you should see list of IP+port. All same in this window ?

#25

Showing single ip with single port

that means, a third party syslog better?

#26

Syslog from gateway is better as it will show less info.
Syslog in UCM is not server, it is UCM syslog.

Hover: This look like a bug in HT firmware.

#27

@Marcin
kindly see the log

PeerStatus: Unreachable
You sure there is not network problems ?

Also please upgrade gateway to latest soft

#29

Gateway means UCM6108?.. It was firmware revision 1.0.15. I tried to 1.0.16 then so on. but still showong 1.0.15

#30

Gateway - HT701

#31

I have updated for 2 stations. but still it is not reachable. but i can ping and open the specific station.

My UCM firmware was very old. will make any issue… I tried to update firmware and showing successfull, but reflect the same version in the dashboard

#32

This mean that UCM is damaged propably. Usally when this happens FR also do not work, and no change can be made.
Try changing something, save. Then restart UCM and check if change is there.

Helpdesk (if above show wrong):

#33

Thanks @Marcin. probably IPBX damaged. I can create new extension, but changes are not there after restart. Anyway I contacted the customer care
