I number of forum users have inquired as of late now that the 63XX is officially released. When the product was approaching Beta, GS published a preliminary price sheet outlining the features of the various plans and their associated costs, Since then, the official word has been -
“The UCM Remote Connect cloud service is in Open Beta Free Trial until July 2021. Thus, there is no need to pay for this service during this Free Trial period. Official subscription plans will be published after the Open Beta period ends in July 2021.”

However, people have since inquired basing their decision to purchase a 63XX unit on how much additional the remote connect plan might cost.

Hi we are installers of your systems in Italy, we would like to know what are the costs after the beta test for the remote connect service and if as resellers we are entitled to have our own remote assistance panel. Thank you

This is starting to sound like a bait & switch deal. We have recently installed a UCM6302 w/ 2 remote workers. Now it sounds like I have to tell the Client they are going to be handed a MONTHLY COST! In the datasheets it said nothing of this. So what are we supposed to tell these clients? I guess i should get ready to either buy back the equipment or lawyer up???

Remote Connect is a service, your UCM hardware device you bought is hardware and has the added benefit of being able to use the remote connect service.

If they need the remote connect service then it should have some value in order to deliver that value there are costs.

But the hardware you bought can operate fully with all the features including remote working which without remote connect you can also set up for your clients

I really can’t see and bait and switch I see a misunderstanding on your end GS has been slow with pricing and to a point, for good reason, we all know Remote connect is constantly being tweaked that’s why it is offered free for now.
