PIN Codes not visible in admin interface


When we first installed our 3710 - there was an ‘eye’ icon next to the pin codes and if you hovered over this it would display your pin codes. this now no longer works so you can’t really check if you have entered your pin codes correctly. I have tried in multiple browsers and the issue persists. Wondering if anybody else has experienced this and has any work arounds. Thank you


@TimClose: That feature (displaying PIN in browser UI) is removed due to customer’s complains about security concern. The PIN is just digits and not easy to get wrong like alphabet letters. Also, even you forgot or not sure, just using backspace to wipe out input and fill in new PIN (digits), click SAVE the new PIN should take effect immediately.

Because booth WebApp and GDS-Manager do not show the remote PIN’s, I need to setup a Excel sheet in order to keep track of already used and potentially (maybe in the late future) duplicated PIN’s.

Is there a way to export the remote PIN’s in clear text?

Yes, latest firmware already supported that feature based on field feedback. You already found it. :grinning::+1:


Ten it is best to use ID+pin this way even if pin is same you need know your ID.
