We live in an area where you have to dial 10 digits to make a call XXX-XXX-XXXX We also have to make long distance calls with a 1 (XXX) XXX-XXXX. Is there a way to make 10 digit phone calls without a 1 but allow a 1 for long distance calls. Or is there a way to always insert a 1 on every call automatically?
Inserting Number 1 Automatically?

Yes, the outbound rules.
NXX, 3 digit dialing, nothing needed.
NXXXXXX 7 digit, prepend 1XXX where XXX (assume 404) is the Area code, result
NXXNXXXXXX 10 digit, prepend 1
1NXXNXXXXXX 11 digit, nothing more is needed.
The above will result in 11 digits always being dialed
you should configure your PBX (SIP server) with the outbound rules that @lpneblett suggested. DP75x itself does not support such a feature, no any SIP phone does, it is a PBX feature.
