Hello,
Has anyone installed the GS3506 Speaker using a boom mount or other type that connects to the threaded hole on the back, specsheet does not confirm the thread size?

Hello,

Thank you
Funny, you mentioned the thread size, The Ceiling Mount kit is not even in production yet. Now, if it would be 6-inch and 8-inch like the rest of the world, you could use 3rd party bracket.
And GS I love you guys, but please make a Cut-Out Template available for download
I hope you can guess size from the picture! its either 1/4 or 3/8, you can always get **1/4” to 3/8 Convert Nut if anything
Hi,
Copper nut specification: 1/4-20UNC, 20 threads per inch, pitch 1.27, coarse thread.
Thanks

Thanks, Lichen,
But I meant cut-out Template, it comes in the box, and sometimes we give it to sheetrock contractors to make openings for use while they are closing the ceiling beforehand. Some manufacturers have them available to download and print them out
