How do I update a GRP2612p that has just been delivered to me with version 0.1.17.50!

Hmmm, good question considering that the F/W you have is not listed. You can try the normal http method by inputting firmware.grandstream.com in the firmware server field and rebooting. If that does not work, I can only suggest contacting the seller and should that fail then the helpdesk -

I tried your solution, it goes around in circles, before, I tried all the versions found on the web.
Now I am waiting for response from official seller or helpdesk.
I will report back on the proposed solution, and the result.

Have you tried updating locally via TFTP?

This is dev firmware.
Helpdesk is only way.
