GDS3705 open door

#1

Hello good afternoon.
I have a GDS3705 and to configure the remote opening I did it as follows. From “Door System Settings” “Basic Settings” and then set the remote pin, as well as enable DTMF to open the door. On the other hand I put the clients’ interns on the white list too.
Should that work for me or do I need to configure something else?
I appreciate if you can help me since I can’t find support anywhere in my country.

Hello dear
no need to put anything in the white list.
all you need is to set the remote pin enable DTMF and put the extension you want to open the door in the ring of the GDS.

Hello good afternoon. I did not understand very well to put the extension I want, to open the door, in the GDS ring. Where is that ring located?

@fibrasopticas: What @AhmadKU said is that: you input all the extensions where you want to answer the GDS3705 call to open door remotely (could be ring group or hunting group extensions) in the the “Press Doorbell button to open door” UI field.

Hope this helps. Thanks!

Thank you very much for answering.
Regarding what you mention, I can’t find the option you wrote.
I am going to send screenshots of what I have set up, and I read in the manual what is necessary to do what I need to do.
I ask you to tell me if I am correct or not.

@fibrasopticas: White list only working from Phone Call GDS to open door. If the call is initiated from GDS and it is GDS call extension, then by default this will working and whitelist does not required and you don’t need to enable it. Enable White list is preventing scam calls into the GDS open door.

In the “Door System Settings ==> Basic Settings ==> Number Called When Door Bell Pressed”, you just need to input EXTENSIONS inside where those extensions will answer the DoorBell call and input PIN (DTMF PIN) to open door. You can choose “Serial or Parallel” hunting mode when doorbell pressed if multiple extensions input there. But for “parallel” hunting, maximum extension is 4 and if more than that, you have to configure the hunting group at IPPBX and put the hunting group number inside the “Number Called When Door Bell Pressed” field as input.

Hope this helps. Thank you for using GDS37XX.

@GS_Guy:
Has the issue with parallel hunting mode of firmware 1.0.7.8 ( https://forums.grandstream.com/t/behaviour-change-or-bug-1-0-7-4-to-1-0-7-7/40045 ) been fixed with the new 1.0.7.11beta or does it still exist?

@grandgrand: For GDS3710, I think the answer is yes. Thank you for using GDS37XX.

Hi GS_Guy.

Sorry, I didn´t recognize that the thread is about 3705…
My question was indeed for GDS3710 model.

Perhaps you could still clarify your answer a little more.
I do not now know exactly what the “yes” refers to.
Does the error still exist or not?
Do you just think or do you know if the bug still exists or has been fixed?
Best regards

The bug is fixed. Thanks.

Thanks! I´ll give it a try then.
