What are the changes from .117?

Calls drop on this version.

Platform is Asterisk/FreePBX.

When placing an outbound call under to a Verizon cell number, the call drops at the point Verizon transfers the call to voicemail. This does not happen if I revert to

What codecs are you using?

Try forcing uLaw (PCMU/g.711u) throughout the whole call and see if that helps.

We have 4 GXP2170s on a test network with a UCM6208. We pushed this firmware to those 4 phones a couple of days ago. Since then, we’ve seen some lockups (phone is lit up, but completely unresponsive) overnight. They’re working fine when we leave in the evening but aren’t in the morning. We also have a GXV3275 on the same network and it’s had no problems. Don’t know for certain that it’s firmware version related, could be a coincidence. Just providing information in case anyone else sees this behavior.

This firmware causes constant freezing and locking up. We reverted back to 108 and the problems disappeared. Symptoms occur on GXP2170. The phone would stay on, then the registration indicator will go completely dead. Can’t factory reset like normal and it freezes while factory resetting.

We had a few test phones this went on. Doesn’t seem to be consistent, perhaps an XML interpreter (which they seriously need to update) issue.

We’ve had additional lock ups on .118. Can’t keep the phones working for more than a day or two. We reverted back to .117 and the problem has not reoccurred.
