Hi
Just attempted up upload this Firmware to my HT802 today. About 3 minutes after the file upload, all four LED lights started flashing simultaneously then went single power LED to all LEDs on solid. I logged in to the ‘Status’ page and noted the Program version was now 1.0.19.8. However all the LEDs started flashing again and the Web UI went offline. Several minutes later I was able to log in and the Program version reverted back to previous 1.0.17.5…

Any ideas what happened?

BTW the Hardware Version of my HT802 is: V1.6A

Hello,

There might be the 1.0.17.5 firmware file on the firmware server. Is there any value configured on Firmware Server Path/Config Server Path? If it is, please clear the value. Also, if “Allow DHCP Option66 or 160 to override server is set to Yes”, make sure there is no 1.0.17.5 firmware on the DHCP server. Then upload 1.0.19.8 firmware and upgrade.

Thanks.

Ah, yes. That was it!
OK, cleared out the firmware server info and tried again. Success.
Thank you!!

Hello,

I tried this beta but I had to quickly revert to 1.0.17.5 as I was unable to login to the web interface!

Whenever I entered my password (either by manually typing it or by coping-and-pasting from my password manager) and then I hit enter or clicked on the login button I was told that the password was wrong. I tried several times (even having to wait for the lockout period), but… no way.

Reverting to 1.0.17.5 (happily enough I had set up automatic firmware download from my HTTP server!!) fixed the issue.

Am I the first one with this strange behavior? Have I made some mistake?

TIA and regards!

Edit: I tried with Waterfox (a Firefox fork), Edge Chromium and Chrome, all latest versions, so it doesn’t seems to be browser-dependent…

Edit 2: forgot to mention that it is an HT802, V1.6A

Ancora grazie e buona giornata!

Oops… sorry to everybody: I thought my above answer to be a PM to @damiano70, and that’s why I wrote it in Italian!

To make the long story short, I was just answering about my configuration, why I decided to try this beta, and why I thought people here could be interested about the issue I’ve experienced with web login!

Cheers!
