The DP752 should be switchable into a DECT-repeater, so there is no need anymore for an extra hardware DP760.
sounds like a waste of money… a repeater has less functionality (and thus less cost) versus a full base station.
The hardware is very similar and the less different parts you have to deal with, the easier to handle…
that is fair.
in addition, that might mean you can Daisy-Chain them?
that is to say:
base A, has 5 sets attached, and acts as a repeater for B,C
Base B has 5 sets, and acts as a repeater for A,C
base C has 5 sets, and acts as a repeater for A,B
so now, you have 15 sets, each with 3x the range due to repeaters?
Daisy chain works actually with the existing DP760 repeater, but only with one call at the same time.
I proposed this on the previous model (the 720/750). Personally, I didn’t care that half the hardware wasn’t needed - logistically, I wanted to only have to stock a single device, and be able to switch it’s mode if it’s being re-deployed at a later date.
