Desktop Wave and 911

Anyone test if you can dial 911 from Wave Desktop? I’ve tested from Wave for IOS and Android and both of those switch over to the actual phone which, is what I would want. What about the desktop version? How do you manage e911 if you’ve got laptops roaming all over creation?

Thank you for using Wave application! If you configure your SIP account from your Wave iOS/Android to the Wave Desktop application, you should still be able to dial 911 in this case. Thanks for your testing!

Can you explain about the statement “they switch over to the actual phone”?

When I tested on the old app (not tested on the new 63xx version of wave), if I dialed 911, wave would close, the built in dialer app would pop up and 911 would be called.

When users dial such 911 with Wave application, users may set to dial out through system call, so that the application will close and switch to use the system dialer. If the user sets outbound rules in the server, the user can be able to dial out through the Wave application. Thanks for your testing!
