I have a Wave-enabled extension that allows up to 10 concurrent registrations on the UCM6301. In Wave for iOS, however, it seems to kick me off my iPad when my iPhone logs in and vice versa. I would like both devices to stay registered on my account simultaneously. How do I accomplish this with Wave?
Concurrent registrations with Wave extensions
Its with the 630x - on extension – registration = 2
Thank you for your feedback! Using the Wave application is different as using other desk phones, the user cannot log in the extension through the same type clients of Wave application. For example, if the user logs in the extension through iPhone, the user cannot log in the extension through iPad simultaneously. If the user logs in the extension through iPhone, the user can log in the extension through the Wave Desktop application at the same time. Thanks for your testing!
I feel this is a defect in the Wave software. Other SIP phone clients can easily take advantage of PJSIP multiple, concurrent registrations. There’s no reason Wave shouldn’t also be able to do this.
For example, I would like to always have Wave running on my iPhone, but when I am using my laptop I would like to have Wave for Desktop running there, as well. This is a common use case and should be supported by every modern, full-function client.
Please add this capability to an upcoming version of Wave.
