Handsets only rings for 20 seconds (timeout)
« on: December 05, 2017, 06:15:59 AM »
We have a DP750 (DECT Cordless VOIP Base Station).
I am testing this with some Gigaset handsets (dont have any Grandstream handsets).

So far the handsets (Gigaset S650H Pro and Gigaset AS405) seem to work OK,
however I have an issue withe the DP750 base station.

With incomming calls, the phones will only ring for about 20 seconds.
The culprit I believe is the "Hunting Group Ring Timeout", this is normally set to 20 seconds (see attachments).
This settings is found via Profile --> Profile X --> Call Setiings...
I changed the timeout to 60 seconds, but the phone still stops ringing after 30 seconds (I get only 10 more seconds of ringing  :()

If I ever start using the DP750 base stations, I can not expect my users to pickup the phone within 20-30 seconds.
Can anyone tell me how I can extend the ringtime to several minutes?

DP750 will not work correctly with other brand.
