How can you identify which hardware version you have; I have a beta unit.

Hello,

I just installed the Beta version but after restart, I could not access the web ui anymore.  Username Admin --> "Username does not exist!"

I still have access via the shell and I have been able to do a factory reset.

However, the system won't load my backup. "Error in the configuration file"...

Thanks

This firmware also breaks the ability to use the Remote PIN to release the door lock!

Also, there is no longer a tone after pressing the doorbell button to indicate it is calling?

@gedeon999:  what firmware you upgrade from?  1.0.1.19?  If you are using HW1.2A (you can see HW version in Status page", you need to perform factory reset (as mentioned in release note). And worst case you might need to reconfigure the unit again. Sorry.

@kgupta:   We no longer support plain DTMF open door (like our IP cameras), for security and liability reason.  We do added DTMF choice (RFC2833, SIP INFO) in case customers using GDS371 as purely door phone to work with IVR (which old firmware did not support).  You might choose "MUTE" in key tone setting. Try configure that again or factory reset to configure again.

Thanks and good luck!

I had the same issue with invalid username. Discovered that the system was now using https:// instead of http://. Using https:// solved my issue

Use this small utility program to search and find the GDS3710 in LAN:

@kgupta:   ONVIF Profile S support will be in next firmware. We are testing internally right now. If you want to test the testing build for ONVIF, please contact me privately. Thanks!

Dear w00t,

I performed the factory reset. I had to reconfigure everything because it could not read my config backup and I had to renter all my card because I did not know it was not part of the backup ! (This last point should better be in the user manual)

It works now except the remaining bug :
- Access problem in http (not https) with some browsers : Internet explorer on Windows, Chrome on Android... 'User not found'. No problem in Edge
- I can't manage to have the remote code working even if RFC seems correctly parametered in my PBX and my phone.  I even tried a direct ip call between zoiper configured with RFC and it still does not work. Or should I understand that it is not possible anymore at all to open the door from the phone. Why is then the use of keeping the field "Remote PIN to Open the Door "  ?

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!

Instead of just removing a FEATURE, you should at least allow an option to turn it on.
I can understand having it disabled by default, but there 100% needs to be a way to release the door from a phone!
What if the client isn't using a GXP phone or UCM (as I know there is some special GDS functions coming in firmware for those)?

I tried setting it to MUTE and enabling RFC2833 as you suggest, but it still doesn't work.
We need a resolution for this immediately!

@ak0815: Please use SSH to factory reset, and clear the cache of browser. The issue should be gone.

@kgupta:  Your (DTMF) issue will be addressed in next firmware very soon. The ONVIF Profile S is under internal testing now and will be next after the DTMF fix. Thanks!
