Unified WiFi?
« on: May 11, 2017, 10:13:16 PM »
Hi

I notice the WiFi can manage up to about 50 AP, however i see no mention of the ability of doing Unified WiFi.

Meaning 1 SSID over all the AP clusters so the remote devices dont need to log in to each AP, theres only 1 SSID with multiple antennas, this would need a master controller.  Although you can manage 50 devices this isnt the same as unification.

Do these do unified WiFi?

at the moment we sell D-Link for this (and it works very well).
Many Thanks
Ashley

Yes it is same SSID across all units. You do not see many SSID just one on all.
I was switched between units without forced to login.

Yes, I could have a WIFI-Phone-Call with the Wave-App and walking around between 2 GWN7610 without breaking up the connection.
It seems to handle the handover very well.
