In Call Softkeys
« on: April 03, 2017, 11:27:01 AM »
Can someone tell me if or how to program the softkeys on the bottom of the display DURING a call? I want to add a call park key during cal for a non UCM install I am doing. Thanks!

I think you can only alter the idle screen settings for the bottom soft keys.
I'd love to know if there is a way to do the in call settings for the soft keys.

I am phasing out pretty much all my older SIP phones with various platforms to GS models. When there is a situation during a call and it needs to be Parked I have no idea how you do it without manually dialing the code, which won't fly. On a 2130 I can just program an MPK but for any phone without MPKs I am in a tough spot.

It is a legitimate idea to quit using the older version.

Hi,

The softkeys on the bottom of the screen are idle screen softkeys and do not have the ability to be set to call park. Please configure call park using the Virtual multipurpose keys. During a call, press the VPK softkey on the bottom left to access the VPK then press the corresponding key to perform the action.

Thanks

Has there been any change to this?  Can the Softkeys be programmed for a Park?

Park is an "In-call" function same as  "endcall" and hold".

Seems a waste to lose a VPK for the Park function
