since 1.1.6.16 the xml phonebook doesn't work

RSS FEED

Hi,

I upgrade my 3 GXP 2010 to 1.1.6.16 and since then the phonebook download doesn't wok anymore.

When I say "download xml" it just doesn't happen anything. In the webservers logfile I can see that the xml-file is accessed, but the phonebook still doesn't get filled. Maybe it's an encoding issue. Im using german special characters.

I changed "encodig ="utf-8" to "encoding="ISO-8859-1" or even removed the encoding tag. It doesn't work at all.

'Whenn accessing the xml-file in the IE the complete file is not shown. It's interrupted when showing such a special character. Firefox show the complete file without any problems.

Before it was 1.1.5.15 which worked fine.

I tried to activate syslog but I don't get it working with my debian server. I don't see any information how to set up the syslog.conf to be able to receive the syslog messages of the phones.

Hi again,

I deleted the whole addressbook xml-file and entered two new addresses. No Problem now.

Maybe the GXP has a limit of addressbook entries????????

Or maybe the length of the names are limited????

Any Infos available about record-length or capacity limits?

Alright, after two days of work I found out that the download fails if the xml-file size exceeds 16KiB (voip-info.org -> GXP2000).

I posted into "wishlist" that it's a very pitty that the size is limited that much.
