I've had an issue with my GW where after about 8 hours of use the LAN or WAN LED(which ever I have my network plugged into) startes to flutter or flicker very rapidly, when this happens the unit becomes unresponsive, losing it's connection with the asterisk server as well as not responding to http requests for it's user interface. This is my second unit with this problem, I have upgraded the last unit from 1.0.1.8 to 1.0.1.10 still no fix. One thing I did notice is that when this happens the unit seems to be a bit warm. I found if I hold a can of air to the vent and blow some of that hot air out of there the unit starts responding within seconds of doing this. I would obviously not suggest this to anyone else as it obviously voids its warranty but I modded the units case with two 40mm fans that keep it cooled down and sinse have not had an issue with the unit becoming non responsive. I wondered if there was anyone else out there having this problem and if so if they have found a better solution that cutting into the case. As a side note my office is not hot but it does get up to 80 on a bad day, the unit is out in the open with nothing stacked on it nor is it next to anything that would generate heat, in this situation even at 80 degrees it seems strange that it would get hot enough to cause issues with it's performance.
