While I can appreciate that you are trying to enhance with the new Missed Call info screen, it is a bit annoying.
Please make it configurable to enable or disable, or at least make it timeout and dismiss automatically with the screen idle settings.

This is VERY apparent if you are using ring groups and the call is answered elsewhere.
It still marks it as a missed call so that info screen is constantly showing.

The release note says the profile picture should be hidden if it is not set, yet it always shows for me (GXP2130). I think you are counting the default contact profile picture because it works correctly when a call is made from a caller who is not in the local phonebook.

Doesn't it make sense to only show the profile picture if any of these conditions are met?
1. icon set in the Call-Info header OR
2. caller id number matches contact AND contact picture is set in local contacts (Default profile image should not count)

+1 to kgupta's request, not sure why we need a popup after a call is manually rejected..

Oh, I didn't even realize it pops up after manually rejecting.
That definitely needs to be fixed.

And I agree to the contact image suggestions AUTOMATICA says.
Only show the image if set in the phone-book or sent in the call-info.

I hate to be rude, but the missed call popup behavior has to be one of the worst conceived notions ever committed to code.

I don't have words strong enough for how much I hate the current implementation.  It should not have been released even in beta without an option to disable it.

The notion of a pop-up might be OK, but completely obscuring/blacking underlying screen is just dumb.

We received multiple requests for more obvious missed call notification citing the indication in the previous 1.0.8.x beta builds are not obvious enough compare to the previous pop up.

It is apparent we have tastes of all kinds, and we will offer an option.

Dear Grandstream

When you release a new feature perhaps by default you can have an option to enable/disable it straight out of the box. I would think at this stage of the game this would be obvious.

Thanks.  The controversial point about this pop-up is because it was there before in earlier releases, but was changed in previous 1.0.8.x release.  So it was consider bringing back something.

It still marks it as a missed call so that info screen is constantly showing.

We will make the missed call info pop up configurable, but auto time-out will defeat the purpose for those who needs this--primarily they want a clear and can't-miss-it reminder that they have new missed calls when they return to their desk either from a bathroom break or a long weekend.

Calls answered elsewhere from ring groups should typically be including a "Reason" header if the PBX does it correctly and GXP will not count it as missed calls.

Manually rejected calls counts as missed calls, but should not count as a "New" missed call that triggers the pop up, we will fix this.

Yes.  The auto-hide avatar logic did not correctly consider the "null" avatar in phone book as no icon.  We will address this in the next drop.

Can we please just have a stable release that doesn't have the BLF issue, or any other issues that includes the VPKs?

Then you can go back to adding new features. Just please, 1 stable release.

Are you still having BLF issue of any kind with the current 1.0.8.36?
